Tonight I received an email from the summer school authorities to let me know that I am fully qualified for Harvard Summer School. We still have two presentations coming out next week.
In addition, a feedback questionnaire was attached to the email,
Students answer questions such as (1) textbook content, (2) curriculum, (3) class management, (4) how instructors proceed with classes, (5) whether the tuition is appropriate, and (6) whether they want to participate in the summer school again next year.
This questionnaire was filled out anonymously, so I was able to express my honest opinion.
The school authorities will use the results of our feedback as a reference when considering next year's summer school operation, textbook editing, curriculum design, and instructor review.
However, they will not reduce the tuition fee.
My answer to the questionnaire was that I was satisfied overall, except for two points: (1) the grammar textbook was difficult to understand, and (2) one professor's lecture in the plenary lecture series was not appropriate.
Also, regarding the instructor's approach to teaching, I would like to express my special appreciation to the M instructor for her teaching skills and enthusiasm for the morning's Integrated Skills class.
And when asked if I would like to participate in the summer school again next year, I answered that I would like to participate again if the writing skills course was newly established.

サマースクール修了資格とフィードバックアンケート

今夜サマースクール当局からメールが届いて私は完全にハーバードサマースクール修了の資格を得たことを知る。まだ、来週に二つのプレゼンテーション発表を控えているが。
さらに、メールにはフィードバックアンケートが添付されていて,
①教科書の内容、②カリキュラム、③クラス運営、④インストラクターの授業の進め方、⑤授業料が適正か、⑥来年もサマースクールに参加したいか、などの設問に学生が回答してメールで返送する。
このアンケートは匿名記入だから私も率直な意見を表明できた。
学校当局としては、私達のフィードバックの結果を参考にして、来年のサマースクール運営や、教科書編集、カリキュラム構成、あるいはインストラクターの見直しなどを考慮するのであろう。
但し授業料を下げることはしないであろうが。
私のアンケートに対する答えは、①文法教科書が理解し難かった、②プレナリーレクチャーシリーズで、ある教授の講義は適切ではなかった、の2点を除いて全体的には満足であったと述べておいた。
また、インストラクターの授業の進め方に関しては、私は、午前のインテグレーテッド・スキル・クラスを担当したＭインストラクターの教育スキルと熱意に対して特別に感謝の意を表明した。
そして、来年もサマースクールに参加したいかという設問には、もし、ライティング・スキル・コースが新設されたら再び参加したいとも答えておいた。
