Last night, I searched the web for materials related to the Cold War-era tensions that I was planning to incorporate into my solo presentation on the theme of "The Kennedy Library and Museum" on the afternoon of the 18th (Wednesday), but I couldn't find any. I had to change the configuration.
Under such circumstances, in today's morning Integrated Skills class, the M instructor strongly declared, "If you don't submit all your homework by the 19th (Thursday), you won't be able to complete it." Then she called students one by one to her desk and made them check the number of unsubmitted homework.
Ah, the M instructor was creating individual submission/non-submission records for all homework assignments.
I had four unsubmitted papers, but Mr. K was astonished when he was told that there were nine papers left unsubmitted, including the impressions of the novel "Montana 1948."
In addition, some students who consistently neglected to turn in their homework to their instructors turned pale at the last minute.

土壇場でＭインストラクターからどっさり宿題を！

昨夜は、私が１８日（水）午後に単独で行う予定の「ケネディ図書・博物館」をテーマにしたプレゼンテーションに組み込む予定の冷戦時代の緊張地域に関する資料をｗｅｂで検索したが見つからず、プレゼンテーションの構成を変更せざるを得なくなった。
そんな状況の中で、今日の午前のインテグレーテッド・スキル・クラスで、Ｍインストラクターが「全ての宿題を１９日（木）までに提出しないと修了させない」と強い調子で宣言した。そして、彼女は、受講生をひとりずつ彼女の席に呼び寄せて未提出の宿題件数をしっかりと確認させた。
ああ、Ｍインストラクターは、全ての宿題について、個人別の提出・未提出記録を作成していたのだ。
私の未提出は４件であったが、Mr.Ｋは、未提出が小説「モンタナ１９４８」の感想文を含む９件と告げられて愕然としていた。
さらに、終始一貫してインストラクターへの宿題提出を軽視してきた何人かの学生は、土壇場で顔が真っ青になっていた。
ハーバードサマースクールは最後まで厳しいところですよ！
