One morning in an integrated class, the instructor imposed a "Three-Minute Essay" on the students.
"Three-Minute Essay" means that the students fill out the prescribed form after the lecture, "what they understood," "what they did not understand," and "what they wanted to know more."
When I was given the Three-Minute Essay for the first time, the other students submitted one after another and left the classroom, leaving me alone.
My format paper was blank except for my name, and while I was looking at it, tears began to flow one after another.
To the M instructor who was worried and comforted me
I said, "I've spent a long time unrelated to writing English, and even when I was instructed to write about what I just learned, I couldn't think of vocabulary, spelling, or grammar." While I was complaining, my feelings eased.
In the corner of the classroom, Mr. C, a Taiwanese man and Miss L, a Thai female college student, who were waiting for me, were surprised by my sudden tears.
They and I were planning to have a presentation preparation meeting in the cafeteria after this.

ある日の午前のインテグレーテッド・クラスで、インストラクターから受講生に「Three-Minute Essay」が課せられた。
「Three-Minute Essay」とは、受講生がレクチャー後に「理解した事」「理解出来なかった事」「もっと知りたかった事」を規定の用紙に記入する。
初めてThree-Minute Essayを課せられたとき、他の受講生は次々に提出して教室を後にして、残ったのは私一人になった。
私のフォーマット用紙は自分の名前以外は白紙、私はそれを見ている内に涙が次から次へと流れてきた。
そんな私を心配して慰めてくれたＭインストラクターに、
私は、「私が長い間英文作成とは無縁で過ごしてきたこと、そんな私に、今学んだ事について直ぐ書けと指示されても、語彙・スペル・文法も頭に浮かばなかった」と、訴えている間に私の気持は楽になった。
教室の片隅で、私を待っていた、台湾人男性Mr.Ｃとタイ人女子大生のMissＬが、私の突然の涙にびっくりしていた。
彼らと私はこの後、カフェテリアでプレゼンテーション準備の打ち合せをする予定だった。
