There was the first "PEER EDITING CHECKLIST (PARAGRAPH)" program in the integrated class this morning.
"PEER EDITING CHECKLIST (PARAGRAPH)" is a team of two people, each of which has a short English composition assigned as homework, and is compared with check items such as "style", "structure and content of sentences", and "grammar". Check each other to see if they meet the requirements and fill out the designated format form.
My teammate this time is Mr. C, a Taiwanese man, who, as I mentioned earlier, was the first multinational team to make a presentation.
After checking the English composition of the homework submitted just before the end of the class, the M instructor received Mr. C and my English composition, but instructed the other students to rewrite and resubmit.
When leaving the classroom, Mr. C and I looked at each other with "???".
This is because, through the lessons so far, Mr. C and I did not actively speak in discussions, but listened to what our classmates said.
Therefore, I thought that if "speaking ability" was strong, "writing ability" would naturally be provided.

今日の午前のインテグレーテッド・クラスで、初めて「PEER EDITING CHECKLIST (PARAGRAPH)」のプログラムがあった。
「PEER EDITING CHECKLIST (PARAGRAPH)」とは、２人でチームを組み、それぞれが宿題として課せられていた短い英作文が、「様式」「文章の構成と内容」「文法」等のチェック項目に照らして要求を満たしているか、いないかを、相互に点検し合って指定のフォーマット用紙に記入する。
今回の私のチームメイトは、台湾人男性Mr.Ｃで、彼とは既に述べたように、初めての多国籍チームによるプレゼンテーションで組んだ間柄だ。
そして、Ｍインストラクターは、授業終了直前に提出させた宿題の英作文をチェックした後で、Mr.Ｃと私の英作文は受領したが、他の受講生には書き直しと再提出を指示した。
教室を出るとき、Mr.Ｃと私は「？？？」と互いに顔を見合わせた。
というのは、これまでの授業を通して、Mr.Ｃと私はディスカッション等で活発に発言するのではなく、クラスメートの発言に耳を傾ける事に終始した。
だから、私は「語る力」が旺盛なら「書く力」も当然備わってくると思ったのだ。
