In general, I thought that preparing a presentation by a team was a collaborative effort, but Mr. X thought it was worthless to act with me, who lacked thinking ability. From the stage of the tour of the "Attorney General" corner, he continued to act alone.
Then, in creating the presentation materials, Mr. X used an old Windows 2000-equipped PC in the PC room of his dormitory (I was amazed that Acrobat V.4 was installed on that PC). However, he insisted that he would make full use of PowerPoint to create a good-looking presentation material and send it to my PC by e-mail after completion.
In my room in the dormitory, I created a presentation material on a laptop computer with Windows xp that I brought from Japan, read it into a stick memory just in case, and prepared a paper printed out at the PC center on campus.
And the night before the presentation, I sent my completed material to Mr. X's PC, but the material from Mr. X did not finally arrive, and in the end I did not see his completed material, The presentation date has come.
The fatal miscalculation was that Mr. X did not recognize that the mainstream laptops at that time did not have a floppy disk drive as standard equipment, so this presentation projector is the latest laptop.
Thus, the material of his self-confidence that Mr. X read on a floppy disk was finally invisible to anyone.
On the other hand, I carried a stick memory with presentation materials read in and a printed paper just in case.
When the O instructor asked me, "Would you like to cancel the presentation?" When it turned out that the materials created by Mr. X could not be used, I inserted the stick memory into the laptop for the projector and I read the printed paper and got through the situation.

一般的に、チームによるプレゼンテーション準備は共同作業であると私は考えたが、Mr.Ｘは、思考力の欠けた私と一緒に行動しても価値がないと考えたのか、「ロバートケネディ元司法長官」コーナーの見学の段階から単独行動を貫いた。
そして、プレゼンテーション資料の作成において、Mr.Ｘは自分が入居する寮のＰＣルームで、古いWindows2000搭載のＰＣを使い（私はそのＰＣにアクロバットＶ.４がインストールされているのに目を見張ったが）、パワーポイントを駆使して、見栄えの良いプレゼンテーション資料を作成し、完成後は私のＰＣにメールで送付すると強く主張した。
私の方は、寮の自室で日本から持参したWindowsxp 搭載のノートパソコンでプレゼンテーション資料を作成し、万が一のためにそれをスティックメモリーに読み込むと共に、キャンパス内のPCセンターでプリントアウトしたペーパーも用意した。
そして、プレゼンテーション前夜、私は完成した自分の資料をMr.ＸのＰＣに送付したが、Mr.Ｘからの資料は遂に到着せず、結局私は、彼の完成資料を目にすること無く、プレゼンテーション発表日を迎えることになった。
致命的な誤算は、当時主流のノートパソコンは、フロッピー・ディスク駆動装置を標準搭載していない、ということをMr.Ｘが認知していなかった事で、今回のプレゼンテーション用プロジェクターは最新のノートパソコンだった。
こうして、Mr.Ｘがフロッピー・ディスクに読み込んだ彼の自信作の資料は、遂に誰の目にも触れることがなかった。
それに対して私は、万が一を考慮してプレゼンテーション資料を読み込ませたスティックメモリーとプリントアウトしたペーパーを携行していた。
Mr.Ｘが作成した資料が使えないと判明した時点で、Ｏインストラクターが私に「プレゼンテーションを中止するか？」と問いかけてくれた時、私はスティックメモリーをプロジェクター用のノートパソコンに挿入し、プリントアウトしたペーパーを棒読みして情況を切り抜けた。
この時の私のプレゼンテーションに対して、クラスメートの一人が「Ｋａｚｕのプレゼンテーションは手元の資料ばかり見て、アイコンタクトが無い」と批評したとき、Ｏインストラクターは「彼女はアクシデントに直面したにも拘わらずにパニックに陥ることなく切り抜けたことが一番大切な事」と擁護してくれた。
