Last time I stayed at the Marriott Hotel for only one night, and I was disappointed that it was another hotel to return to Warsaw again.
Actually, when I applied for this tour, it was all Marriott hotels during my stay in Warsaw, but at the time of the tour departure, the two nights in Warsaw at the final destination had changed to another hotel. That doesn't mean I wasn't happy.
A few days after returning to Japan, I learned through the press that Michael Jackson and his party had stayed at the Marriott Hotel on May 27th and 28th during a pre-visit to build a theme park in Warsaw.
Currently, I can only find the following site to know this by web search (though it is the Japanese version)

According to it, in ■ 1997 ■, along with a two-shot photo of Michael Jackson and the mayor of Warsaw, there is a comment "Meeting with Mayor Martin Sventsky Warsaw every day on the 27th and 28th."
Actually, I was a big fan of Michael Jackson. I shed tears when I knew his obituary.
For me, I couldn't meet Michael Jackson in person, but it's a special memory just to think that we were together somewhere in Warsaw on May 27th and 28th, 1997.

実は、私がこのツアーを申し込んだときの行程表ではワルシャワ滞在中は全てマリオット・ホテルだったのだが、ツアー出発の時点で、最終地でのワルシャワ２泊は他のホテルに変わっていた。だからと言って私は不満だった訳ではない。

それによると、■'９７年■では、マイケル・ジャクソンとワルシャワ市長とのツーショットの写真と共に「27日・28日と連日マルチン・スヴェンツキーワルシャワ市長と会談」とのコメントが載っている。
実は私はマイケル・ジャクソンの大ファンだった。彼の訃報を知って涙を流すほど。
そんな私にとって、マイケル・ジャクソンと直接顔を合わすことが出来なかったが、１９９７年５月２７日・２８日に私たちが共にワルシャワのどこかにいたのだと思うだけで特別な思い出だ。
